The School St Mary's Summerstown Montessori we aim to provide education in a warm, welcoming environment. The nursery was founded two decades ago, it's original name was the Children's House. Over the years the nursery has been very successful and has given education and love to the children who have attended it. During the Spring of 2007 the nursery had to close for refurbishment and was re-opened by Liz Maitland (NNEB:RSH:Norland DIP; Mont Dip) as St Mary's Summerstown Montessori Nursery School as a celebration of 100 years of Education.

Liz Maitland owns another very successful and popular nursery school in Mortlake, Barnes which she has successfully run for 7 years. The staff at St Mary's Summerstown endeavor to achieve the same high standard, enabling the children to grow with joy, confidence and satisfaction. The school is registered with Ofsted and the E.Y.D.P; we provide Montessori teaching alongside traditional philosophies including artwork, roleplay and extras such as Ballet, Cookery, French, Music and PE/Football.
